I had a four-hour stopover at the airport after flying from Manila to Singapore. more » (http://www.medskul.com/ecasiano/lifeafter12.php)

Nice perks :thumb ...

Australia is a great place to migrate for Filipinos. I think 'nationalistic' APO Jim Paredes moved his family there. A med school classmate has moved there too. And just recently, my wife's nursing school classmate from Perth stopped by our place in one of the many stops of her U.S. vacation.

I wonder how hard it is to practice Medicine down under :-k .

Not only thus Filipino Doctors take up nursing and go to the US, but some work in the "land down under" as doctors.:-k I know some alumni's who went there (e.g. Bryan Togle '94 went to New Zealand for a year but came back coz he was probably assigned in the outbacks and miss city life.:sneer: :sneer: ) As far as I know, they have the same program as that of UK. You go there as a Registrar.....:thumb

Thanks Rolour. The layout is getting better. Australia is indeed open to Filipino health professionals these days.
